Accountants & Bookkeepers in Reading

Privacy Policy

Who we are

Taxivo Partners (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an accountancy and bookkeeping practice based in Reading, Berkshire. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we look after it, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data controller: Taxivo Partners Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17397322). Registered office: 2 The Chatham, Thorn Walk, Reading, RG1 7BJ. Contact: info@taxivopartners.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us — name, email, phone number, business name
  • Enquiry and engagement information — the details you share when asking about our services or becoming a client
  • Financial information necessary to provide accountancy, bookkeeping, payroll, tax or company secretarial services, where you are a client
  • Website usage data collected through cookies — see our Cookie Policy

Why we process it

  • To respond to enquiries and provide quotes
  • To deliver the accountancy, bookkeeping, payroll, tax and company secretarial services you’ve engaged us for
  • To meet our own legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money laundering (AML) checks and HMRC reporting requirements
  • To send you service-related updates (not marketing, unless you’ve separately opted in)

Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (client work), legal obligation (AML/tax compliance), and legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, keeping our records accurate).

How long we keep it

Client financial records are retained for as long as HMRC and anti-money laundering record-keeping rules require. Enquiry data from people who don’t go on to become clients is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Who we share it with

  • HMRC and Companies House, where required to file returns or documents on your behalf
  • Our practice software providers (for example Sage, IRIS, Xero or QuickBooks) who process data as part of delivering our services
  • Professional advisers (for example our own accountant or solicitor), where necessary
  • We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal data we hold about you, and the right to object to certain processing or request that your data be moved elsewhere. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@taxivopartners.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
